This site is hosted by Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, California, USA — www.netlify.com ↗. Netlify processes the technical connection logs (IP address, timestamp) needed to provide the service.
Personal data
Contact form. The information you enter (first name, surname, e-mail, phone, message) is transmitted via the Netlify Forms service and reaches us by e-mail. It is used solely to answer your enquiry and to follow up on our exchanges — waiting-list registration included. It is neither sold, nor passed on, nor used for advertising. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures and our legitimate interest in replying to you.
Retention period. For as long as your enquiry and our relationship require, then at most three years after our last exchange.
Your rights. You have rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection over the data concerning you. Simply write to us at contact@iris-polaires.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL ↗, the French data-protection authority.
Cookies and analytics. This site uses no advertising cookie or tracker, and no audience-measurement tool. It loads no third-party content by itself: the map, the social networks and external publications open on their own sites, in a new tab. A single technical setting (your night-mode choice) is stored locally on your device, transmitted to no one.
Third-party content
Some pages embed external content that may transmit your IP address to its provider when it loads: the location map (Google Maps) on the Contact page, and a YouTube video that only loads after a click from you. The fonts are hosted on our own site: loading them transmits nothing to any third party. The links to Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp activate nothing until you click.
Intellectual property
The texts and photographs on this site are the property of the Chatterie des Iris Polaires, unless stated otherwise. No cat photograph is AI-generated: they are our cats, photographed at home or at their birth catteries. The brand visuals (home banner, logo medallion) are, for their part, illustrations created with AI tools — we explain this on the dedicated page. Any reproduction without prior agreement is forbidden.
The official documents cited (breed standards, legal texts, LOOF sheets) remain the property of their respective publishers and are systematically linked to their source. This site is built with the help of an AI, which we explain in full transparency on a dedicated page.
